Top STEM Elementary and Middle Schools

Introduction

In the past, we have released blogs that list the top ranked STEM high schools and Magnet schools in the United States. However, we at STEM Sports® know that a comfortability and passion for STEM starts at a young age. STEM Sports® is passionate about giving students quality STEM curricula that allows them to learn with the curriculum using sport. By doing this, we hope to give students a positive experience with science, technology, engineering and math that will make them want to further their STEM education as they move through the education system. With this in mind, we have compiled a list of the top STEM elementary and middle schools.

The STEM movement has gained momentum in recent years. In December 2018, the White House released a STEM Education Strategic Plan laying out plans for the next five years. The goal of the plan is to give Americans access to quality STEM education. With this, The United States Department of Education and United States Government have invested millions of dollars in making this goal come into fruition. The continuing improvement and use of technology around the world has caused STEM jobs to rise at a faster rate than any other field. That has made the need for quality STEM education essential to preparing children for the workforce of the future.

By putting your young child into an environment with a STEM-driven curriculum, they can continue to improve their STEM literacy and love for STEM. Below is the list of schools that provide kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, sixth grade, seventh grade, and eighth grade STEM education:
